Ministries Offered

We are a Christ-following, Bible-based congregation in Marin County, California, reaching out to our community with the love of Jesus.

Are you new to faith and church? Wondering about God? In need of prayer? We can help!

We offer regular activities for families, singles, children, and anyone who is seeking to know God better and make a personal difference in the lives of others.

People can recognize the way Christians love others (or fail to). It's different than what is generally experienced. As a church, we are continuously striving for relationships that build a strong community and help us grow in our love for Jesus and others.

If you have a question, please contact us for more information. Ultimately, we hope you will also visit us personally!

New Heart Ministry

New Heart is a one-on-one ministry with the goal of transforming the heart into the likeness of Jesus Christ. This is accomplished through the cleansing of the hurt, pain, and sin that occupy the heart, and by filling it with God’s love.

Young Life-Capernaum Ministry

At Young life-Capernaum we provide events to special need young adults and teach them the word of God. We provide various games worth the challenges for them to have fun and socialize with one another. We also provide snacks before the event starts, including pizza sometimes. Each individual gets to participate at their own free will to answer questions about the scripture tailored for them. Volunteers are also invited to join if they want. The activities can be based outdoors if it’s a sunny clear day and indoors if raining. Sometimes there are field trips for them such as going to play mini golf or camping every summer. If you’re interested please reach out to the church and ask for more information.

Penguin’s Pantry Ministry

At Penguin’s Pantry Ministry we volunteer with the food bank to give out food weekly at Dominican University offering opportunities to meet new people and give back to the community. It’s another way of serving God. The food pantry meets every Wednesday, 9am-3pm at Dominican University across from Bertrand Hall. You’ll see canopies and tables set up and you can feel free to volunteer. Talk to the church office for more details.

Prayer Ministry

At our prayer meetings, we pray for specific needs to help bring people, individuals closer to God or for healing. We intercede for them asking God to bring deliverance as well. Prayer is a necessity to connect with God for his will to be done, for petitions of grace and mercy for others. Here, our prayer group is lead by Pastor Linda Pierce and we pray specifically for needs in this world.
